17th Vendor Fair & Awards Banquet Recap

The 17th Vendor Fair & Awards Banquet was held on November 14, 2016 at Jax Cafe'. A total of 110 Facility Professionals, Family, and Friends atteended the gathering in what has become the hallmark event of the year at AFE Twin Cities Chapter 13. Our terrific Vendor Members set up exhibits displaying the latest facility technologies, products, and services available today. Members made their rounds and visited with exhibitors about how to manage their facilities more effectively.

Following the exhibits, a wonderful dinner was served with Filet Mignon, fresh Broiled Canadian Walleye Pike, and flame Grilled Chicken Tortellini a Chef's sauce. During dinner, we recognized members and sponsors for their exceptional contributions during 2016. This ceremony has become an honored tradition and affords recipients to be recognized with their peers and a chance to share their reflections of the facilities industry. Several members took a few minutes to remember one of our long time members Jack Ross, PE who passed away in September 2016. Lastly, we concluded the evening with the official Installation of Officers.

A special thank you goes out to Daniel Rotty, CPMM with Medtronic for his meaningful contributions to the organization. During his six years of service, AFE Twin Cities Chapter 13 successfully transitioned nearly all of its operations and communications to web based platforms. Dan's foresight and implementation efforts will improve the chapter's opportunities for many years to come.

Also a very warm thank you goes out to our Vendor Members. They did an excellent job of demonstrating the latest facility products and services for our members to benefit from. A task made more difficult by having to lug their exhibits up the long and steep set of stairs to the second floor. Your hard work is very much appreciated. Our plant managers greatly benefit from the immersion of facility based goods. And a warm smile and handshake is a very worthwhile way to show gratitudes. Listed below are all of the terrific Vendor Members who and 2016 Award Winners who participated at this years' Vendor Fair & Awards Banquet.

2017 Online Vendor Member Directory
We are very excited to announce that AFE Twin Cities Chapter 13 is transitioning to a web based Vendor Member Directory. The new directory replaces our 100 page paper based directory, which had been published for about 60 years. It was an excellent tool for listing Twin Cities Chapter 13 member an operations information. And we hope the new directory will provide the same value. Please look for an email from AFE Twin Cities Chapter 13 that invites you to list your organization. The email will contain a link that directs you to the new site where you can verify/update organization contact and capability information. The new site also manages payment and renewals automatically. If you have any questions or want more information, please feel free to contact us.
