Letter From the President
Greetings and Happy New Year! My name is Jesse Weber and I work for Parsons Technologies as an Account Manager. It is an honor and a privilege to preside as President over AFE Twin Cities Chapter 13. I joined the industry in 2014 on the Life Safety Systems side as an account manager and shortly after joined AFE. Being fresh to the world of facilities and maintenance management it gave me a great opportunity to meet some amazingly smart individuals and to better enable myself with today’s concerns of the day-to-day life of engineers, vendors and students. I have met some great friends and have had a wonderful time growing with AFE Chapter 13... and this year will be no exception.
I want to take this opportunity to wish Ann Petrick with Horwitz, Inc. a fond farewell and thank Ann for her many years of service on the board. She did a wonderful job at each of the Board positions and her warm smile, high energy, and thoughtful insights will be missed at the monthly board meetings.
I would also like to introduce Alan Hall, our newest Board Member who will fulfill the role of Chapter Secretary. Alan is a UW Stout graduate and currently works for LVC Companies in Service Sales. Please welcome him at one of our upcoming meetings!
2018 will also bring some exciting changes within our administrator role. After serving the chapter for over 20 years, current Administrator Joe Ryan will be stepping down and passing the torch to our new Administrator Jason Kasanezky. Joe will continue to work and train Jason into the new year but will eventually transition out of the role. Joe has been a vital asset to the association and will be greatly missed for his positive attitude and great dedication to the association. Thank you Joe!
Cheers to a successful 2017 and an equally successful 2018. I look forward to finalizing our events for the year and seeing you there.
